The people who did this first, and better

Everything here owes a debt to Arseblog

Andrew Mangan started Arseblog in 2002, from Barcelona, before anyone had decided that a person writing about their football club every single morning was a job. He has now done it for well over two decades. The Arsecast followed in October 2006 and became the thing a lot of us listen to before we've had coffee. The Irish Independent once described it as the most-consumed football fan content in world football, which sounds like hyperbole until you realise how many of us have organised our mornings around it.

Tim Stillman writes the columns. If you have ever read a piece about Arsenal that made you rethink a player you thought you had figured out, there is a decent chance it was his. He is also Arseblog News' Arsenal Women correspondent and presents the Arsenal Women Arsecast — which matters, because he was covering that team properly long before it was fashionable to.

None of their writing is reproduced here. This site links out, and it should: the tone I'm reaching for is theirs, and the correct response to loving someone's work is to go and pay for it.
